All federal borrowers are required by the federal government to participate in an entrance loan counseling session before they receive federal Stafford loans. Southwest has partnered with Mapping Your Future to offer borrowers a quick and easy way to complete this session online while learning important information about the responsibilities of borrowing education loans. Funds CANNOT be disbursed until the entrance counseling session has been completed. If your school does not participate, please contact your school's Financial Aid Office.
